Hi,
I am hoping to use a large quantity of untreated fleeces to insulate the roof space in an old thatched farmhouse. The wool is worth peanuts if delivered to British Wool, and it will save me buying any alternative materials. Does anyone know why I shouldn't?
It used to be said in these parts that the warmest winters followed a crash in the wool price- farmers would to store their wool in the loft.
Any treatments- borax salts???
Any thoughts welcome.
