Well once again my entire family has suffered from a bug in the run up to christmas. I had it on wednesday, collapsed in the kitchen whilst being sick, only to wake up in the hallway with my wife trying to pick me up. she then spent the day with its effects and our teenage daughter has just launched a sea of vomit in her bedroom all over the floor. Seems a lot of people are suffering down here, is it doing the rounds in other parts of the country?

I've had a bit of a cold, nothing too bad though.

fingers crossed, everything crossed! your right though, normally something nasty happens from a cold, a toothache, to, well doesn't bear thinking about .

I had it a couple of weeks ago. Staring at the bottom of a bucket every few minutes and a 2 day migraine.

At least you'll be free of it by Christmas - many will go down with it on the day.

Yep, gastro enteritis (at the same time - good job the sink is near the toilet) leading to cold sores, a throat infection, boils. Started two and a half weeks ago, still not fully over it. Wife demanded I rest today to recover.

Didn't think self-employed people could afford to be ill? :(

I have managed to regain some of my lost earnings by booking pupils next week.

Funny how it always happens around Christmas time!

You know what I'm getting at: you encounter more people in this period.

i cant, had to go to work yesterday to finish off a job, feeling like cack and ended up working longer than i should for my own good. Not much you can do but take time off when your spewing your insides out, customers dont seem to appreciate it!

im just intrested to see how and if this moves geographically, as it really seems to be gathering momentum down our way and spreading to all and sundry

Funny thing is:

And I now have the master of all colds!
