Utility Room

Hi All,
I am a competent DIYer but I am stuck on a minor future project.

We have just moved into a new property and would like to move the washing machine into a utility room that has no waste but we want to put in a waste, the other side of the utility room is the garden, am I correct in thinking I could put in a soil drain for the washing machine waste or is there some sort of regulations against this ?

Any kind of advice would be appreciated.

You can’t discharge “grey” water to ground, should be easy enough to run back to existing drain?
