1. Google "exposed pipework fittings".
2. If the taps are tank fed, make sure you buy a mixer suitable for low pressure.
3. If the cold is mains fed and the hot tank fed, you will need a mixer that blends the water at the end of the spout, not one which mixes internally. This will rule out a thermostatically controlled mixer as these normally need approximately equal pressures.
 
You need to measure the distance between the pipes. You need to make them 150mm centres to even have any option. Then using the wallplate elbows you can fit 2 x 3/4" male nipples into them.

that'll give you the mounting option for a mixer tap. You may then be able to get extended covers to hide the fittings.
