vaeritas alarm problems

Did you do any of this with the cables still live?Can anyone help!
I have a veritas 8 alarm, have rewired the PIRs due to old and perished wiring, have used 6 core fleex and now can not get them to work (not lighting up). What do i do?
If you did, replace the blown fuse.
if none of the pirs are lighting up, it will be a blown glass fuse on the main pcb
what size 6 core flex maby there is a strand shorted out, or if its the stuff with like 2 black cores then maby you have got confused and the 2 mixed up. You should really use alarm cable. Is it by any chance ran outside hence it perished?
