I have a gas combi boiler - Vailant VCW GB 242 EH and the main heat exchanger has developed what looks to be a terminal leak.
Does anybody have any experience of replacing these, and where can I get a replacement part?
I have already had to replace the DHW heat exchanger, and have replaced the main valve, so I am reasonably confident about taking on the job, but all advice gratefuly received. Is this a big job, can a diy'er take it on, or is it time to get a Corgi engineer out? (I am very skint so I cant really afford an engineer, or to replace boiler).
