I drained my system to change a TRV, since filling it back up i can't get the boiler to fire up. There is no model on the boiler itself and we have no manual withit. It is at least 15 years old but has run unproblematically for years.
The system has plenty of water in it, ie (1.25 bars), I have bleed and bleed the radiators to ensure that there is no air in the system yet still it won't fire. The temp is down to 30 degrees and so one would think that when you turn it back on it would automatically heat the water up. The pump and fan both sound like they are working and in fact if I turn the CH on, they continuously run but still the boiler doesn't heat up.
The fault light never comes on and now I am at a complete loss as to what has gone wrong, surely changing a TRV shouldn't be that difficult.
Any ideas, have I seriously overlooked something?
