Vaillant boiler pilot will not light

I have a Vaillant VCW GB 242 EB boiler and today the flame went out and will not relight when the reset switch is pressed in fact there is no sparking sound.
All electrics are on and the pump is working, can't make out if the flue fan is working or not. Any ideas assuming the flue fan is ok?

ok judging by what your saying your dont sound corgi registered so in that case its best to get a corgi registered gas engineer to repair as no one can help you there are fare to many things that could be wrong with it
