Before starting, I must say that I'm a retired gas fitter of 11 years now
I have a Vaillant Ecotec Plus which is 17 years old, inherited it when we moved in
Anyway, there is a problem. I had to fill the system every morning, so I checked The expansion vessel and found the Schrader valve leaked,
Fitted a new one with a bit of difficulty, weird because I fitted several when i was working (other boilers though) it's the first one Ive fitted to a Vaillant.
I thought it'd be a breeze, but no I had to faff around lining it up to the bottom feed, and because of that I've caused a leak in the Filling dial inlet
at the back of the boiler. How on earth do I fix it, please?
I've never had to take that out before, and not worked on many Vaillants Anyway.
I would appreciate any advice on this subject please.
