Hi all,
I have a hot water problem with my new Vaillant Ecotec Plus 835. This boiler has just been recently installed, we've been using it for about 2 months and once in a while there is no hot water coming out of the taps, the central heating seems to be working fine, just no hot water on tap.
Whenever this happens, the hourglass icon is showing on the display. The boiler pressure is fine (1.5 bar) and pressing the fault button always rectifies the problem but it happens often, about every 2 days. Once it occured late at night, by the morning however, there was hot water without problem.
This shouldn't be happening right? I also have Comfort Mode set to 'on' could this be the reason no hot water comes through at set intervals?
