Hi
I've got a Vaillant ecoTEC combi boiler in one of my houses. The system has been switched off for quite some time as the house is unoccupied.
At the weekend I went to the house and started up the system - the boiler showed the code F22. My research suggested that the boiler needed more water in the system so using the tap beneath the boiler I allowed some water into it until the gauge needle moved to the dark grey area.
On restarting the boiler it is now showing error F75. I have spoken to a plumber who suggested that it may be down to a frozen pipe?
The pressure has been gradually decreasing again, and now when i turn the tap underneath the boiler it doesn't sound like water is flowing into the system as it did originally.
Could this be due to a frozen pipe?
Thanks
