vaillant GB 240 H, water pressure

hi, i have a vaillant vcw gb 240 h wallmounted combi boiler. The shower gives a little hot water then goes cold. The water level meter reads, White hand 0 , Red hand 1.3. The label inside boiler says it requires topping up. How do I do this as i think this may remedy the problem. i need a non technical answer. rob
