I have a fault with a Vaillant GB242/1E turbomax combi ,it works fine in dhw and ch modes but occassionally stops running and the ignition energising light which looks like two upside down triangles flashes, if you then reset or turn off and on the boiler fires up ok, problem occurs in both modes. I don't have a manual and can't get hold of any one at Vaillant, I assume that the flashing light is indicating a fault.Can any one help Cheers[/list][/quote]

pump flow switch is sticking.

check the pump too, the switch can sometimes be cleaned out but check the tubes to it as these are small bore and prone to blockage. (a precision screwdriver works well to poke them clean)
