Please help!

I have a vaillant turbomax 242E boiler.

I have NO hot water, if I switch on the heating there is hot water but not on its own.

I did have the diverter valve changed approx. 3 years ago. Do you still think that's where the problem is?

if the boiler was fitted with the original type D/V 3 years ago then yes that,s your problem.

Its possible that the diverter valve was only repaired and not all changed.

Even if it was then it could still have failed although they usually last 4-5 years.

On your model we only replace the whole valve unless the demand switch is failed or out of adjustment.
