vaillant turbomax 242e

i recently got called out to fix a vaillant turbomax 242e that was giving no hot water. i discovered that it needed a new micro switch, so changed it and everything seemed fine. but now the hot water down stairs is fine but all the hot points upstairs are only coming through slightly warm.
anyone have any suggestions?

If you are GasSafe registered, this type of question would be more appropriate if you were to join the 'combustion chamber' section of DIYnot.

otherwise I would be looking closely at the aquasensor.
