Vaillant Turbomax 828e Hive Thermostat Install

Hi all,

Apologies for yet another Hive wiring post! But I've been searching around for a few days in regarding the wiring of my boiler into a Hive thermostat. I've currently got a VRT 340f thermostat controlling the heating(very poorly) so have decided to go for a Hive Thermostat, but have found different versions of wiring that might work.

I've found 2 ways that might work, but do not want to damage anything if its wrong! Picture of the boiler wiring is:

I'm thinking option 1 is the correct/best way? More than happy to be pointed in the right direction!

Neither is correct, N&L are correct but 3&4 on boiler with link removed to 1&3 on hive

So, just so I’m clear to myself it will be
Boiler L to Hive L
Boiler N to Hive N
Boiler 3 to Hive 1
Boiler 4 to Hive 3

Yes, so option 1 as you originally put.
