please help we have an fault with oure boiler

every now and then the the boiler locks out and, the ignition indicator flashes (egg timer) and the central heating demand indicator light is illuminated

if these both come on the rads go cold and we have to reset the system

the breif description in the manual states lack of water or poor circulation in the central heating system, the system pressure gage reads about 1 3/4 bar

if we reset the boiler it works fine for a day or 2 then doest the same thing

please can any one shed some light on what the possible cause of this is and how to rectify the fault ?

thanks

Hello forktruckman...
Well, could be a few things, probably something to do with the rectification electrode when the boilers in initial heating mode, on ignition rate (low) for the first 2 mins.
I'd suggest getting it serviced 'properly'. When was the last time?
There are a few other faults it could be, but difficult to say without seeing the unit.

hi was serviced just over a year ago
as we were getting the burner indicator come on .
after the service we started getting the above fault and we still get the burner lock out every few weeks
