vaillent ecomax 828 boiler

i have an intermitant fault on this boiler .there is noise as if air is in the boiler also the pressure gauge moves up and down by 0.3 bar it does not sound right . i have dropped the pressue right down to zero and checked the expansion vessel it ok at 0.8 bar . I have also vented the system.................help

How did you "vent the system" ?

Is the cap on the AAV open?

Thanks for the reply, i put 1.5 bar in and vented all rads then undid the cap on the auto vent

The auto air vent might be blocked!

Putting a little leak detection fluid over the top with the cap removed would show if any air was coming out!
