This doesn't have a pilot light. Are you saying that nothing happens when you try to use hot water or central heating?
This is the burner lockout indicator. If alight it indicates a number of faults, including lack of water pressure . What pressure is shown on the pressure gauge (extreme right on control panel)?the light which has the flame above with the diagonal line across it stays red

Here is your problem. You need to increase the pressure to about 1.0 Bar......now you're going to ask how you do that, yes?the clock with is bar is 0

Below the boiler, you should be able to see a silvery flexible connection loop that links the extreme right pipe with the next pipe to the left. At one or both ends of this you will find a valve which may have a plastic lever on it, or possibly a screwdriver slot. Can you see this and describe what you've got?
I was hoping for a slightly more detailed description... never mind.this has a flex pipe with a valve

Open the valve (turn knob quarter turn) and you should hear water entering system. Continue with this until the pressure gauge shows about 1.0 bar. Then close the valve.
You can then reset the boiler controls by turning the lowest of the three green dials clockwise (so it points towards the flame symbol) briefly - it will spring back to the middle setting. The red lock-out light should go out and the boiler work normally.
Is that it? I spend half of Sunday evening explaining it all to you, and that's all the thanksTried that seems to be working thanks for you help
