Valve washers in taps being over tightened

Hello.
I have a problem with family members over tightening the bathroom and kitchen taps when shutting the water off.
This is a problem regarding the hot water taps, so not sure if the hot water affects the washers and when cool off becoming tight.
I have told them to turn the water off just at the point when the water stops running to avoid crushing the washer but to no avail.
Is there an alternative valve I could use such a quarter turn valves?

Yea quarter turn ceramic disc that will put a stop to their shenanigans! Just make sure they are ceramic disc as some cheap quarter turn taps have washers!

Is there the option of buying a choice of Low or High water pressure taps?
