I'm looking to buy a van, why is it most of them is plus VAT?
Is it something to do with company or a lease van?
Really need a van for 3m length materialsI'm looking to buy a van, why is it most of them is plus VAT?

I had this issue. I just needed the van for the dogs any lumping stuff in, I'm not vat registered or a business.
If your're just after a car derived van like an Astra then what about the estate car option and then just get the sidewindows blanked out if you wish?
Because that way the van looks 20% cheaper...
If you did an internet search for a van for £XXXX the firms that had their vans labled including the VAT would risk not showin in the searches..
So the Inland Revenue loses the VAT until someone like me pay the VAT? What I don't understand, the VAT will be less because of the older van depreciation value and yet buy a ex-company used car is free of VATBecause you claim the VAT back if your SE, what i don't understand is why they seperate the 2 figures as you'd be claiming VAT back even if it was 'inc VAT'......surely?

Im not so sure on that, search engines search 'keywords', in this case the price, it wouldn't not find it just because it said '+ vat' at the end, search engines aren't calculators and don't add the vat, they just see the numbers or words
Any idea how will the vat man know about it?He hands it to the vat man
