Has anyone got/used these? There's been a spate of break-ins to the company vans at work and replacing all your tools is not cheap!

Are they worth the money?

Our firm are now fitting locks to the side and rear doors instead of supplying van vaults. As the vans have a bulkhead and no rear windows it means there's no easy way to get at the tools.

Let me know if you decide to buy one (details in my profile), manufacturers have an offer on at the moment. The new range of VV have gas struts on the lid and an anti-vibration alarm docking port

I posted this question some time ago too. Most thieves are opportunists, removing that temptation by having a van safe will in most cases put people off. The little chav is going to go for a van which is ripe, he isn't going to go rob the whole van because he cant get at the tools!
