Hi all, I hope someone can help me!
I've fitted 10 new doors in our place, they're untreated pine. My wife and I (well, I was there) chose the colour we (she) wants them to be varnished, which is matt Light Oak. Trouble is, our local B+Q only does Ronseal Light Oak in 750ml tins - and I think I'd need about 30 of them to do two coats of both sides of all doors.
Can anybody advise on where I can buy larger cans of Light Oak varnish? It doesn't have to be Ronseal, as long as the colour is more or less the same, and it's a matt finish.
I'm heading down to my local Wickes at lunchtime to have a look, but wondered if there's a specialist company that I could order from to save money.
The doors currently have a single coat of clear varnish - which hasn't been enough to stop them expanding in the British Summer weather
Thanks for any help.
Jim
