so i am making giant connect 4 with some spare wood i had laying around in the garage.
i bought some general paint from wilkinsons and have sealed and painted the MDF but its going to need to be hard-wearing so i am thinking it needs varnishing or lacquering.
my question is.... can i lacquer it? is there something specific to use or is there a better way to toughen the paint finish? i am trying to keep this as cheap as possible.
sorry if thats a stupid question - i have only ever painted car parts (hence the lacquering suggestion) and walls!
