After disconnecting the battery on my sons 53 plate Vauxhall Astra he attempted a few times to re-set the radio code but he got it wrong each time (don’t ask). Now the radio needs to be re set by the dealer. Is there any way around this to do it myself. Thanks, David.

radios tend to lock out for a set number of hours when 3 wrong codes are entered, do you have the omners manual?
Yes all it said in the manual is it needs to be taken to a dealer who will re set it, looks like that is what he will have to do.
