vauxhall vivaro door open warning light on

I have a 04 vivaro. the door open light stays on, back interior lights stay on, beeps when locking doors. Doors lock fine. Both pin switches seen fine. I think it is the side sliding door. On the side door if i test resistence between body and each side of the switch it shows a short as oppose to the rear one only shows this on one of the 2 conections.

Same happened on mine,turned out the rubber grommett that compresses the switch on the back door had fell out.

i have looked at this and all seems fine. I will double check though. From what i can remember the back grommet dosent go through the body work and just holds round the switch. ill look this morning though.

I'm having the exact same problem with my 03 Renault traffic. How did you fix the fault? Id really appreciate a reply, its driving my nuts!

Hi. Did you get to the bottom of this problem?
Lots of forums have this problem listed but no suggestions on what the problem is
Mine is doing exactly the same and none of the door plungers turn the lights off. It's irritating
