vauxhall zafira 1.6 16v oil leaks

Can anyone tell me if they know of any common oil leaks appearing on vauxhall 1.6 engines it appears to be sump gasket ! but i want to check before dismantling.

Not usually a common problem. Seen a few Ecotecs leak, but very rarely.
Sometimes what looks like a sump gasket can actually be from elsewhere
eg: front or rear crank seals, but not done many of these either.

thanks mate hoped it wasn't crankshaft seal but looks like front one

How many miles has your Zafira done?

If it's either around 40k or 80k you'll be changing the T Belt anyway, so much easier to do a front crank then as the belt is off anyway.
