Anyone got a VAX with the plastic cover that goes over the dirty water tank and has a flap you lift up to attach the hose? Mine is the V027PT. Whilst cleaning it, I dropped a rubber o-ring. About 2mm and 5cm diameter but can't figure out where it came from to put it back. (The o-ring has actually broken but I have superglued it as a temp. solution)
I contacted vax and they are sending me a replacement "top nozzle assembly". I think this might be the cover I mentioned, with the flap but am not certain this is where the o-ring came from. I still have the flat profile bigger seal in the cover but is the o-ring from the flap? (If it is the flap, my broken o-ring is it too big unless it has stretched?
Maybe it is from somewhere else entirely???????
