You may recall my post about crashing my Vectra C in early December, however I have now bought another Vectra C 1.8 petrol , manual - both because I found the previous one reliable and comfortable and also because I have a significant value of new parts (discs and pads ) and re-usable parts ( headlights , as I live in Fance )
The new one is a couple of years younger but unfortunately only a few thousand miles less on the tacho ( 85K ) and it occurred to me to ask if anyone can say around what mileage the repairs build up to unacceptable levels . I am obviously aware of the programmable items like the cam-belt etc and occasional parts such as coil-springs and other suspension components, but is there anything "regular" or at least a mileage when you need to become vigilant ?
I will also be asking on Vectra forums, so you are not the only guys.
Thanks in advance
