Vectra Electric Window

Its not for me but a friend (bet we have all said that before).
On Vauxhalls, when you close the electric side windows, if it meets an obstruction it stops & then goes down a small amount. Does anyone out there no how to reset this.
The reason is the window had to be replaced.

dont think you can reset it, its there for a reason, if its had a new windown, chances they have not fitted it properly.

What year is the vectra? and does the window go to the closed position and the comes down alittle? let me know.jim.

Thanks, but has been sorted, you hold the switch & it resets.
