if you follow the very easy instructions for fitting velux windows and their flashing kits, then they're foolproof. one tip though, don't go mad when trimming the foam splash inhibitor, and cut too mutch off, its there for a reason. it can cause a little kick on the smaller less weighty plain tiles. don't be too alarmed by this.
