Hi,
I am fitting a 78 x 98 velux in a single storey extension. The tiles are 30mm thick flat ones.
The building extends 4 metres out from the house. The height from the floor to the lowest point of roof (near gutter) is 2.7 metres. The height to the highest part (where flashing joins original building) is 3.6 metres. According to my calculations and trigonometry was certainly not my strongest subject! This equates to a pitch of approx' 13 degrees.
Is this correct or am I missing something. Is this too shallow to fit a velux?
Many thanks in advance,
Gary.
