Velux window glass replacement?

Hi all,

I have 5 velux windows all around 15 Yeats old. On everyone the vacuum/seal of the double glazed glass has gone and they need replacing (they have fungus/water inside them and there's a build up of condensation on some of them)

I called velux and was given a cost of £750ish for replacements.

So I'm asking does anyone know of a cheaper option? I'm wondering is standard double glassed glass from a glazier would do just as well?

Honestly I have no idea. Is there anything special about velux glass opposed to standard double glazzing?!
