Velux windows/rooflights

Planning some extensive work early next year, which will include, amongst other things, the installation of 4 rooflights.

Two of which need to be the conservation style and given the other two will be in the kitchen area, was thinking of the white, finished windows which are apparently better for humid conditions?

Does anyone have any experience of the white finished velux windows? are they worth the extra expense?

Also, does anyone know of other makes that can supply similar style/quality windows to that of velux? It seems as soon as you want something that isn't the standard window type, the price creeps up quite a bit

did a job last year and used velux type windows cant think of name but we got them from aizelwoods if you have a local builders merchant of that name all I remember is we saved 50% on velux prices. I think it was something like Key lite.
