I have a Vent Axia Luminair Fan Light in a shower-room, and the bulb went out, so I replaced the bulb. It worked for about 10 minutes then the new bulb went out. Now no new bulbs work. The fan still operates as usual. Any ideas?

the lamp connectors look fine - though the unit is approx 5 years old - do they need replacing after time or is it best to get a new unit?

Check your new lamp is the same wattage as the old one.

Many of those shower lights are limited to 35watts. I'll bet you've put in a 50W and the transformer might not like that....

Alternatively it might be the transformer that's cream crackered, and not the lamp.
