Vented hot tap

I am fitting a over the sink water heater (but under the sink) and connecting to a hot tap in the sink, but it tells me I need to connect to a vented hot tap - whats a vented tap, i have never come across one before, can anyone help

quite expensive taps, self venting taps is wat ur lookin 4.cant u vent the water heater? and how many litres is it?

Its got a 7 litre capacity, how would you suggest I vent it, as you can see by my name I don't know much!!

MI's not state its venting requirements and options? If you ain't got the MI's someone on here may have a copy and supply them if you state Make, Model etc.
