Vents in kitchen cupboard door for boiler

Hi my boiler is fitted to the wall inside the kitchen cupboard you can walk inside it when it was done years back they cut holes in the door top and bottom to fit air vents wanting to replace doors do you still need vents the boiler has been replaced with valiant echo tech condenser boiler
