Hi
Has anyone any information on the Switchcraft Remote Control system ignition on a Verifire Ultra gas fire. There seems no user controls on the fire itself only 2 electric switches on the wall similar to a double light switch.
The first operates the gas flow (either HALF or FULL). The second starts the ignition and I think should fall back to a mid position when you let go. You can manually return it to the OFF position to turn the fire off.
I ask because someone has one that does not return to a mid position but instead leaves the ignition clicking continuously.
So my question is can such a switch be repaired or replaced or is it time to replace the fire. Any responses would be appreciated.
