Veritas 8 Alarm help.

Hi,
Please can anyone help.
I have a Veritas alarm which keeps beeping from the internal sound box.
The very old battery has been replaced, but it is still beeping once every 55/60 seconds.
The alarm seems to work ok but the noise is now becoming very annoying!
Can anyone tell me why this may be happening and any ideas how to solve the problem.

Is the power light on the panel steady or flashing.

If flashing it could be a mains power issue, the panel panel will "beep" when mains power is removed

Hi,
The back door sensor was on chime, but I've now taken that off and it's still doing it.
Any other ideas?
The red light on the main box is on and not flashing.

The power light is steady, only flashed when I fitted new battery but went off as soon as mains back on.
Any other ideas?
