Veritas 8. How to make it chime when entering the house?

Hi all, on my old alarm. When I returned to the house an internal chime would beep prior to the alarm being disabled.

With the Veritas 8, when we enter the house if we forget to disable to alarm the siren sounds.

Is there a way to turn on the chime when someone enters the house prior to the siren sounding?

If you have a door contact fitted to your way in, it needs replacing

Ah okay in our previous house we did have door contacts but not in this one. Can it be set so that first PIR triggers?

Fit a door contact, that's the correct way to do it.

Unfortunately thats not really an option for me. Can it not be triggered by a PIR as there is one located next to the door.
