Veritas 8 PIR sensors flashing 4 times

We recently had a power failure which resulted in the alarm losing all its codes and settings. After completely reprogramming the alarm from scratch, everything appears to be working except that three of the four attached PIR sensors are continually flashing 4 times every few seconds. This didn't happen before the power failure.

Does anyone know what is causing this, and how to stop it.

What make are the PIRs?

Not sure of the make. I'm out tonight, but I'll check when I get home and post first thing tomorrow.

some, not all detectors have a test mode, in this state they do flash with no movement, but then take them selves out of the test mode after a short while

They're still flashing. The make is a Tri Sense Ltd, they are about 11 years old and are supposed to be pet safe sensors.

battery is fried in the panel and pulling the aux volts down - do you have a test meter?
