Veritas R8 - reset alarm with no keypad

Hi

I have a Texecom R8 alarm, main control panel and separate keypad.

I was burgled last week, alarm went off however burglars just ripped the keypad and internal sounder off the wall. The external bell is still clicking and the blue light is flashing (no siren).

Is there a way this can reset with no keypad - just bare wires coming out of the wall? i.e. if certain wires are touched together will this send the reset command? Just want to stop the external bell flashing.

If remove FCU and battery by opening the main control panel won’t this trip the external sounder?

Maybe ....if it was done right in the first place ....depending on the bellbox it should stop after 10/20 mins or not ...
