Just had the gas company come out to my mother's house for radiators that were stone cold. They replaced the impeller pump and bled the radiators. Everything seemed to be fine for awhile but then the radiators got extremely hot -= too hot to touch. I turned down the thermostat to 60 but had to leave to see if that helped at all. Won't be back there tonight. I remember this happened before and that mom said something about a spring being replaced (mom just died Sept 2 so I can't ask her). Does anyone know why the radiators get too hot?
Thanks for your help.
