Very small letterbox aperture

Hi

I'm trying to replace the external faceplate on my door as it's very drafty but I seem to have an aperture which is smaller than usual as I can't find sleeved letterboxes or push-to-open spring based faceplates which fit.

The size is 21cm wide and 4.5cm high.

Is this unusually small or am I just looking in the wrong place?

Use a jigsaw to enlarge the hole.

Or just put a letterflap on the inside.
