LAST YEAR I REPLACED A WHITE SOCKET FOR A BRASS SOCKET WITH BLACK SWITCH. IT HAS STARTED TO VIBRATE WHEN YOU TOUCH THE BRASS, WHAT COULD BE WRONG WITH IT?

MAYBE IT IS KNACKERED LIKE YOUR CAPS LOCK KEY IS.

capitals are used to indicate shouting and words to be read in a bad temper, so be carefulwhen you use them.
If you have, or can borrow, a meter with an AC volts range , you can measure to see if there is any voltage betwen the exposed metalwork, and sometihng you know to be earthed - waterpipes, or perhaps a long lead back to the consumer unit earth.
more than perhaps 2 or 3 volts, and there is a problem.
Come back and let us know what you measure.
