Viessman 050 - Banging after service.

hey!

I need abit of help understanding a problem with my boiler, I brought a Viessman Vitodens 2021 050-W boiler in 2021 and after every boiler service I need to call out Viessman under warranty due to a banging noise when using the hot water tap, the longer the time goes between the warranty call the noise grows louder, it will bang when the central heating comes on or when I use direct hot water. I usually get a boiler service through Heatable, this year I used a local plumber i was going to use Viessman direct but I was put off by the price and the 3 Year servicing agreement they sent me I didnt like that.

Does anyone know why this keeps happening or had any similar experiences.?

Hi Ragey, I have the same boiler and it occasionally does something similar when turning on a hot tap whilst the ch is running. Im assuming its something to do with the diverter but keen to see what the experts on here suggest.

Why not just ask the warranty operative when they attend? If they usually solve it they will know what they did!

Note that Viessmann Direct are not the same as Viessmann UK.
