I have a Fuji camera, when I plug this into the TV I can watch the movies in full wide screen.
If I save it to the pc then view it is not 16:9.
When saving to disk I cant see any options.
Advice welcome, although I know I will probably be beter posting in another type of Forum, there are some knowledgable people on this forumn.

In Windows Movie Maker, in the Capture video section is there a Video Settings selection for Display Size. Probably in pixels but can you set that so that it comes about as 16:9.

Thanks for that, I will give it a try.
I usually just get the avi straight from the camera, then play it.

Are you sure that it's not just your TV stretching the image. Most digital stills cameras take pics and shoot movies at 12:9

It dos not looked stretched, but even it was when I save it as an avi on a disc, why does it not look 16:9 when I play the disc.
I can play avi's via my hard drive recorder.
