My friend has just burned a hole in my new vinyl floor is there anyway i can get rid of the mark :cry:

vinyl is a plastic so it has melted.

cut out the burn with a very sharp stanley knife
this then leaves you a floor with no burn marks.

It also leaves you with a hole, I would place the piece you have cut out on a similar piece of vinyl and cut round this, and swop the 2 over.

Obviously you find a hidded piece of vinyl to cut, say under washing m/c, fridge, cupboard

you should also glue both peices down
 
as breezer says ;)

is there is a pattern on the floor were you could take an offcut if for
example its a square patern you take your offcut with the relivant square
on it you tape it firmly on top of the dammaged bit you then cut
[in the grout lines] through both layers and providing you cut with
the blade verticle the bit you cut out will be the same as the extra bit
