Virus Google Search will not work

Using Firefox and Windows XP.

Found that the Google would crash Firefox just as it was coming to the end of a search.

Ran a virus scan and found that I had downloaded a virus.

Just thought it might help someone else as it took me a while to figure out what was going on.

I ran the following software on the advice from another thread.
