vista problem

Has anyone sorted the
sonic solution problem.

I have tried following advise from google but getting nowhere.
I think I have tried , but may have done wrong.

Tried to uninstall, all sonic programs,would not let me.
tried to change and delete drag to disc, but was unable to find it.

Tried to reinstall drag to disc, but do not seem able and cannot find where to get it.

Tried roxio vista update , but fails and tells me to reinstall drag to disc.

I do not have the disc.and do not really want to buy it

Any advise appreciated,not too technical please.

Is the problem that the driver is blocked?

If so, try this patch on it.

There are two - one for 32 bit and one for 64 bit - just pick whichever one is suitable for you. You need to scroll down the page - the patch is for retail and trial customers.

The other course of action is to go back to XP!!!

Apparently "loads" of people are staying with XP and/or waiting for Windows 7 to come out due to the bad publicity over Vista?

Personally it seems to me no matter what OS they come out with it ends up being slagged off due to problems, perhaps BG needs to look at getting Microsoft to do something else instead of producing OS's
